Influencer Campaign

For this campaign we were tasked with telling the stories of fairytale princess' while highlighting the exquisite dresses in detail. We created to 2 vertical video ads for Instagram & TikTok. 

Overview

Southern Gents, an e-commerce store based in Houston, Texas, offers customers a selection of Fedora’s, Suits, Shoes, & Jackets. Despite having a following of 105K on Instagram and 1K on YouTube, they were facing a challenge. Their current content was not generating the brand awareness they desired and they had a goal to provide more educational value to their customers through this content as well. Ultimately, their ambition was to elevate their company from 6 Figures to 7 Figures in sales within 2 years.

Problem

 

The content Southern Gents were creating was not resonating with their audience as much as they wanted. They wanted to provide more value and educational content to their customers. Despite having 108K followers on Instagram and 1K on YouTube, the brand awareness they were hoping for was not being achieved. Their aim was to take their company from 6 Figures to 7 Figures in sales in 2 years.

Solution

 

To help Southern Gents achieve their goals, GH Productions began by researching competitor content on Instagram. We specifically looked for high-performing cinematic videos within the fashion niche, based on views and trends. Our research led us to the conclusion that "Magic Trick Transitions" and "Cinematic Walks" were the video styles that had the best performance.

Testing

 

Our initial trial of a cinematic walk video garnered 2.1 million views on Instagram. Encouraged by this result, we filmed another video featuring a different outfit, beginning with the walk and then transitioning into a sequence of outfit detail shots and poses. This video gained an impressive 9.9 million views within two months.

 

GH Productions then developed a content strategy that included these two styles, accommodating both in-studio and downtown photo & video shoots. The plan to grow Southern Gents' Instagram following was to execute 12 reels per month, each showcasing a different outfit in our newly developed cinematic style. We also decided to incorporate trends from the internet, adding our own unique twist.

Results

 

In just 8 months, GH Productions was able to triple Southern Gents' socials, with a particular focus on Instagram reels and Pinterest advertisements. Southern Gents' Instagram followers grew to 308K, with an average video view count exceeding 100K. This increase in engagement and brand awareness translated into sales, transforming their average daily sales from $500/day to a whopping $4,000/day.
